RF Sealing
When you need to fabricate an item from two or more pieces of plastic, you need a way of welding them together.
R/F sealing is the use of radio frequency waves, heat and pressure directed through two or more layers of plastic to combine molecules of all layers of the plastic when molten.
Heat sealing combines heat and pressure to seal plastic to plastic or plastic to blister board. Heat Sealing is preferred with certain packaging designs and materials (for example, RPET cannot be R/F-sealed so heat sealing is the only option).
