AVC maintains fully staffed thermoform tooling department guided by a Master tooling engineer with more than 25 years of experience.

From concept to prototype to finished product, our thermoform department offers the highest capacity and the most versatility of any thermoforming company on the West Coast.

With our state-of-the-art CNC machines and computer software, AVC’s in-house tooling department can make thermoforming tools, R/F sealing tools, heat sealing tools, and die cutting tools. Having a complete tooling department in house gives AVC the ability to perform on short lead times, when necessary, as everything is done in house and we are not controlled by schedules and lead times of outside companies.

AVC offers 1-UP samples of the package design, made from foam and/or polyurethane tools, which gives our clients the ability to secure the sale with the buyer using a professional mock-up sample that looks like a production sample.
