AVC designed and patented the RRP with the idea that consumers need a better package for products with multiple components. The idea was to make the package become part of the product by making the package itself a reusable storage device to house and maintain the product(s) and accessories indefinitely. Over the years, AVC has expanded on this concept. We now offer multiple versions of the RRP. The two main versions are one with plastic outside and one with blister board outside. This package is environmentally friendly because it is reusable and also because it can be made using PVC alternatives. The RRP can be made in any size or shape. It is a great marketing tool as the product sits on the consumer’s shelf, displaying your company name and logo for the life of the package.

AVC has developed a new patented RRP, the PP-RRP, made from clear Injection Molded PP with soft PP-printed overlay that can be printed up to 8 colors, which is sealed directly onto the package. The PP-RRP has an integrated locking mechanism to secure the package and eliminate the need for the current security tape. The PP-RRP will be a major improvement to traditional clamshell and blister packaging in look, functionality and price. Printing directly on the PP will completely eliminate the cross-contamination of the plastic and paper. This concept will position your company as one of the leaders in environmental concept packaging. The PP-RRP can also be made in any size or shape.

The ERB is widely accepted by large retail and club stores. This is a Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club preferred package. Made from a combination of blister board, corrugated and recyclable plastic, the ERB is environmentally friendly because it reduces the amount of plastic used and is made with recyclable plastic. The ERB is cost-effective as it cuts down on plastic, eliminates the need for a paper insert, and is significantly lighter in weight, which saves money on transportation costs. There are limitless opportunities for creative design and marketing with the ERB – the blister board can be made in any size, shape, and color. AVC also has multiple versions of the ERB and can quote any one or all of them.

The DVD case has a clear PP window so product shows through and consumer can see what they are purchasing. It has a clear thermoformed insert to hold the product and protect it from moving around within the case. It has the same overall dimensions as a regular DVD case. Manual assembly is required, no machinery is necessary. The package is secured by the new patented locking mechanism. Currently we are packaging flash media in this type of case for many leading flash media companies.

AVC’s EnviroTube utilizes one type of plastic for the entire package (usually RPET – recycled PET), eliminating cross-contamination of paper and plastic or of multiple types of plastic. This tube-like package concept features an attractive look with a clamshell or thermoformed tray suspended inside, almost as if it were floating within the package. The end caps are made from injection molded or thermoformed plastic, which are molded with slits in the center to hold the internal tray or clamshell, which is also made from the same type of plastic, and keep it suspended within the tube-like package. The internal tray or clamshell will not need to be sealed because it will be secured inside a tube or box made from plastic sheet that is closed with the caps and secured with proprietary sealing techniques. Printing in up to 8 colors can be done directly on the tube portion or a printed plastic film can be laminated to the plastic. Windows can be opened anywhere for optimum product visibility. A printed paper insert that can be easily removed can be used instead of printing onto the tube. This package design is extremely environmental because although it is made entirely from plastic, it is made completely with one type of plastic and therefore, eliminates the problem of cross-contamination, which can negatively affect recycling efforts. AVC has multiple versions of the EnviroTube and can make it in any shape or size.
