AVC's clean room environment is free of harmful contaminants in order to produce a better product for our clients. Our workers are all professionals and they care about quality. For at AVC, our company motto is "There is no substitute for Quality. Qualtiy is # 1". We take the extra effort to certify all media before we use it. There are no standards for CD players; only for discs. Which is why in the disc replication industry, quality is more important than ever. The way it is suppose to work is that the players should be able to play any disc that meets the Red Book specs. To be certain that the discs meet all the Red Book specifications, AVC will measure at least 50 different parameters. For the more things we can measure here at AVC, the greater confidence we have that our discs will play in all players. We use specialized equipment that have HF outputs so that we can measure I11, I3 Asymmetry, Jitter and Reflectivity. These are some of the more important signals that show if the pits are properly formed.

Our commitment to quality means that we test every CD master, even before the glass mastering stage, to detect early any potential problems, and we test samples of manufactured discs using the latest, most accurate disc analysis systems available in the world.

The easiest way to get a picture of disc quality is to measure error rate. Most serious defects will cause an increase in error rates. By looking at both the quantity and severity of errors, you can get a good picture of disc quality. Playback errors can be caused by two things: Localized defects, and poor pit geometry. AVC takes special care to make certain that both these areas are checked and verified.
