This is the process of creating a master tape or disc image that complies with the DVD specifications from various data and compressed video and audio input media. AVC will take your source, such as BETA SP or BETA Digital tape, which is then encoded and compressed to MPEG format, and have a menu designed according to your exact specifications. Authoring allows you to add value to your asset by providing features not possible with the VHS format. Video, audio, extra language soundtracks, subtitles, stills; all can be incorporated -- and the choice is yours.
